Sen. Orrin Hatch thinks the poor need to “share some of the responsibility” for decreasing the debt. What a great idea! With taxes at one of the lowest points in history for the wealthiest in America, let’s tax the poorest people in the country more. That seems fair!
Dale Peterson, GOP candidate for Alabama Agricultural Commissioner, seems to be a little paranoid in this ad – oh wait – he’s a Republican. I’m surprised he’s not talking about a one world government or something else crazy.
Rep. Mark Souder (R-IN) had an affair with Tracy Jackson, his own staff member. He can be seen in this video called “Congressional Update with Congressman Mark Souder” talking about the importance of abstinence with the woman that he cheated on his wife with.
Republicans are all about women’s rights – as long at it’s taking them away or demeaning women in some other way. Senator Bennett of Florida understands.
Congressman Steve King (R-IA) grabbed a reporter and shook him after being asked if he believes his anti-tax rhetoric could have “justified the murder of American federal employees.” After the attack on the IRS building in Austin, TX Steve King released the following statement.
“As a founder of a small business who has endured I.R.S. audits, I understand the deep frustration with the I.R.S. In the early days, my company could not run without me on the job. I once had to shut it down just to be in the room with the I.R.S. I did not get a fair shake, but I channeled my frustration the American way and ran for office. Americans looking for an outlet for their frustration should join me in calling on Congress to pass a national sales tax and abolish the current federal tax code and the I.R.S.”
